Mrs. Leslie began her teaching career in Metro-Nashville schools eighteen years ago after graduating from Tennessee Tech University. She has been at J.T. Moore the past six years teaching fifth and sixth grade.
Mrs. Leslie is married to Steve Leslie and has two children. Her oldest son, Jacob, attends Hume-Fogg High School. Her youngest son, Steven, attends Julia Green. When she is not at Moore, she enjoys reading, exercising, organizing, and doing volunteer work for a charitable organization, New Clothes for Kids.
Her main goal as a teacher is to make students more aware of how to make good choices in the areas of health and the environment. She feels the International Baccalaureate program is a great fit for her goals.
