    Ms. Kurzrock joined the JT Moore faculty in 2007 to teach 7th grade Language Arts. Before returning to Nashville, Ms. Kurzrock taught for Rutherford County Schools at Rock Springs Middle and Central Middle. She taught at Central for two years as a 7th grade Reading teacher. Besides teaching Reading, Ms. Kurzrock coached volleyball and both boys and girls track. During her second year coaching track, both of the track teams became the Rutherford County Champions. This was the second year that the girls' team won the county championship. Even though she enjoyed coaching, Coach K decided not to coach at JT Moore. In addition to teaching Language Arts, Ms. Kurzrock teaches the Positive Promotions classes. 

    Before teaching, Ms. Kurzrock graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2000 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mass Communications Advertising. After working in merchandising at Shop at Home Network for three years, Ms. Kurzrock decided to return to MTSU to pursue a teaching license. As it turns out, this was the right decision and suits her.  She enjoys every teaching moment and all the adventures that she has encountered so far.
