Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is a school wide plan to equip students with meaningful tools that will ensure lasting success and change within the school environment. We have a school-wide celebration every nine weeks to reward students who follow our school expectations matrix. Expectations are posted in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, restrooms and on the buses.
We also provide a PBS store every two weeks. Students enjoy exchanging PBS tickets for tangible items or certificates for special privileges. We are most thankful for the many parents who provide assistance in operating the store and welcome new volunteers!
Parents are invited to join us and celebrate with students who have exhibited respect, responsibility, preparedness, self control and cooperation during this six week period. Our celebrations are held in the auditorium for 5th and 6th graders and repeated for 7th and 8th graders.
Reservations are not required; but we do ask visitors to stop by the office, sign in for a visitor’s sticker and report to the auditorium.
