Welcome back from summer everyone! I hope you had a great summer and are ready for an even better school year. I have uploaded some information to my webpage and will continue to do so throughout the year. General Info

My name is Amy Cate and I have been at JT Moore since 2003.  My B.S. is in Spanish with a double major in Secondary Education from Vanderbilt.  This summer I finished my Masters in Education Administration from Lipscomb University.

I am originally from Somerset, KY but all of my extended family lives here in Nashville. 

Most summers I spend my time travelling! The summer after I graduated from college, I went on a 6-week mission trip to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala where I worked in an orphanage and a clinic. I have aslo been to Costa Rica, Italy, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, England, Scotland, France, Spain and Romania. I have taken students to Spain, Italy, England and France.

In 2008, I was honored to be chosen as the Metro Nashville Public Schools MIddle School Teacher of the Year.
