I received my Bachelor of Arts in English, Bachelor of Science in Education, Masters of Science in Guidance and Counseling, and Special Education endorsement from the University of Memphis. Thirty hours above Masters were received from various institutions. I taught twelfth grade English for five years at a high school in Arkansas. After receiving my Masters, I taught in both private and public adolescent mental health facilities. For approximately two years, I worked with the Regional Intervention Program helping parents with children with behavioral difficulties. I then joined Metro Nashville Public Schools as a teacher in the Moderate Intervention Program - Fragile. I have taught in this program since 1992. I have been teaching at J.T. Moore since 2002. |
